Data source: NOAA Aviation Weather Center METAR API, relayed through a lightweight Cloudflare Worker for browser compatibility. Ceiling is computed from the lowest BKN, OVC, or VV layer; category is computed from ceiling and visibility; METAR weather codes are decoded for quick scanning. Wind text uses the METAR “from” convention; the compass pointer shows flow direction. The bar fills to sustained wind speed, and a “G” marker shows gust speed when present.
